Why do we have to volunteer?

It takes a village (and a lot of teamwork) to keep our players on the field!

As a non-profit softball organization, our success depends entirely on the energy and dedication of our members. Running three tournaments and multiple fundraisers throughout the season requires a massive amount of behind-the-scenes effort—from prepping the diamonds and coordinating events that keep our programs affordable for every family.

• Player Experience: Volunteers ensure our tournaments run smoothly, providing a professional and exciting atmosphere for the athletes.

• Keeping Costs Low: Fundraisers driven by member support help us cover equipment, jerseys, and field maintenance without passing those high costs onto registration fees.

• Community Building: Volunteering is the best way to meet other families and strengthen the bond of our softball community.

Whether you can give a few hours at the concession stand or help lead a fundraising committee, your time is the most valuable investment you can make in our players' season.

Deposit checks of $250 Per Player ($400 family maximum) for 8U - HS will be collected at our in person registration events. 

Can I donate instead of volunteering?

Absolutely!  

We understand that families may not have a chance to volunteer, so we do offer the ability to accept your volunteer deposit check at our in person registration events as a donation and will absolve you of volunteering.

How much time do I need to volunteer?

Our volunteer time is broken down into 2 categories.  8U and 10U - HS families.

8U

• 2 hours per player

10U - HS

• 6 hours per player

There is a maximum of 10 hours per family.

At the conclusion of the season, your volunteer deposit check will be returned to you; if you have met your volunteering requirements.  If you haven't, your deposit check will be cashed.

• Winter Training Sessions - approx. 126 hours

April/May

• Brat Barn - approx. 75 hours

• Features Fundraiser - approx. 8 hours

June

• 12U Tournament - approx. 186 hours

• 10U Tournament - approx. 186 hours

• Meat locker fundraiser - approx. 24 hours

July

• 8U Tournament - approx. 69 hours

August

• Kornfest Beer sales - approx. 56 hours
